DISCOVERY

Snorkeling Hike

From the boat, equipped with a "shorty" wetsuit, a mask, a snorkel, and fins, with family or friends, discover the Mediterranean fauna and flora on a site (Bagheera) very rich in biodiversity.

This activity requires no special skills other than knowing how to swim, and children must be accompanied.

INTRODUCTORY DIVE

Maximum depth: 6 meters for 20 minutes

Being on the surface is good... but underwater is much better!
You're not very comfortable in the water, you've been traumatized by "Jaws," you have a phobia of water, or you're claustrophobic, but doing an introductory dive to see what's happening below has always been your dream?
Then now is the time to take the plunge!

How does it work?

We start by offering you a coffee or a refreshing drink to get to know each other. Then, we dress you up as a frog.

Before departure, all instructions on the activity and safety guidelines will be communicated to you with joy and good humor, which will relax the most anxious.

No special skills required, even if you can't swim.

Once on the site, after a 5-minute navigation, each of you will take turns joining the instructor on the surface, who will equip you with the tank. After a brief review of the instructions, it will be time for the immersion, which will be done very gently, first one meter to see if everything is okay, and then the start of the discovery of this fascinating new world for about twenty minutes at a maximum depth of 6 meters for adults and 2-3 meters for children.

After your dive, you can still enjoy the site, take a good sunbath while checking the names of the species encountered on the information sheets, or return to the water with fins, mask, and snorkel.

Back at the center, it will be time to receive your diploma and congratulations.

EXPLORATION PACK

A 20-minute introductory dive and a 40-minute exploration dive
Maximum depth: 6 meters

Did the introductory dive seem too short? Did it whet your appetite, or would you have liked to share this magical moment with one or more of your loved ones?

Provided you have a minimum of aquatic ease, after the introductory dive, you can, with the exploration pack, do a second dive with family or friends (maximum 4 people) that will last twice as long (40 minutes), of course, always accompanied by an instructor.

BOAT TRIPS

The diving club "A madreperla" offers you a sea walk where you will discover a part of the eastern coast of Corsica that has remained wild, leading to the Genoese tower of Diana. Located in the commune of Aleria, this still little-known territory is secluded and preserved, where nature and heritage are harmoniously reflected. Our boat will sail along the beaches and the lagoon in a natural setting where our Diana tower stands proudly, a true witness to the maritime trade of Corsican history.

The Diana tower is located between two major Corsican cities: Bastia to the north and Porto Vecchio to the south. This geographical position was of great importance in the 16th century, when the tower served as a surveillance point against Barbary invasions, allowing control of maritime routes and ensuring the security of the region. Today, the Diana tower is a must-visit site for history and heritage enthusiasts, offering not only a immersion into Corsican history but also a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscapes between sea and mountains.

Then you will finish at the beautiful Bagheera reef, a small underwater jewel, where you can swim with fins, mask, and snorkel, and observe a multitude of fish with a presentation of Mediterranean biodiversity in a rich and revitalizing place, preserved from excessive nautical tourism.
